Joshua Kinsinger, PT, Cert. MDT
Mr. Kinsinger is a 1993 graduate from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in the School of Allied Medical Professions, Division of Physical Therapy. His professional career began as a staff member of Medical Rehabilitation Systems in Rochester, PA. He was promoted to Facility Director of a satellite facility in Baden, PA. A transfer moved him to Bedford, PA, where he served as Facility Director of a new clinic for Keystone Rehabilitation Systems from 1998 to 2002. In January 2003, Mr. Kinsinger, in partnership with MRS Physical Therapy, opened a new facility in Meyersdale, PA.
For the last fourteen years, Mr. Kinsinger has focused on orthopedic physical therapy. He has also provided neurological, aquatic, home-based, and pediatric physical therapy. In 1996, Mr. Kinsinger earned certification from the McKenzie Institute in mechanical diagnosis and therapy of the spine, allowing for a specialized approach to the treatment of neck and back pain.
Mr. Kinsinger was raised in Somerset County and has recently returned with his wife, Kate, daughter, Emma, and son, Jack. He is pleased to join MRS Physical Therapy in a partnership role and provide Meyersdale and surrounding communities with quality Physical Therapy services.
Janelle Koontz, PTA
Janelle graduated from Mount Aloysius College in 2010 with her Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant. She also graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2009 in Behavioral Science from Mount Aloysius College. Janelle has been with us since 2010. She is also a certified LSVT-BIG clinician for those with Parkinson’s.
Janelle enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Trigger. She also likes to cook, bake, and travel. Janelle grew up in Somerset County and resides in the area with her fiancé, Alex and step-daughter Alexis.
DeeAnn Barron, Facility Secretary
DeeAnn joined the MRS staff in October 2013, bringing with her many years of experience working in the healthcare field. She enjoys the front office interaction with patients and seeing their transformations as they progress their rehabilitation.
DeeAnn is happily married with one daughter, 5 step-children, 3 cats and 1 dog. She enjoys relaxing with family, reading, playing outdoors with her daughter and gardening.
